B2B PPC

Google Ads for companies that sell to other companies. The goal is leads your sales team can close, so that's what the campaigns learn to find.

What it means

In B2B the sale rarely happens on the website. It happens on a call, in an email thread or at the end of a procurement process, often weeks after the click. If Google Ads only sees the form fill, it learns to bring you more form fills, and sales ends up with a pile of leads nobody can use.

So I connect the click to what happens next. The click ID (gclid) goes into the CRM with the lead, and the stages that matter (qualified lead, opportunity, won deal) go back to Google Ads. Brand, competitor and solution searches run in separate campaigns, each with a landing page that answers the search. B2B SaaS isn't new to me: I ran the advertising in Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom for Newo.ai, a voice AI platform for small and medium-sized businesses.

When you need this

  • Plenty of leads, but sales says most of them are useless
  • Google Ads shows conversions, but you can't see which ones became customers
  • Brand searches make the whole account look better than it is

How it works

  1. 01I map your sales stages and check what actually reaches the CRM
  2. 02Tracking first: the click ID in the CRM, qualified stages back into Google Ads
  3. 03Then campaigns by buyer intent, with bidding on qualified leads once there's enough data
