Blocked Meta pixel restoration
Has Meta blocked
your pixel?
If Meta has put your domain under a data sharing restriction, your campaigns keep spending while the conversions stop arriving. With Metamorph you get them back, on the same pixel and ad account.
The check needs no sign-up: just your first name, your email address and your website, and you have the result in about a minute.
More than 20 advertisers already use Metamorph, and not one of them has cancelled.
Signs that it affects you
- Events Manager shows the "Data sharing restrictions applied" notice.
- Google Analytics or the CRM shows conversions and Meta doesn't.
- URL-based custom audiences stop filling.
- In the browser console the pixel reports that it's unavailable, or that you're trying to send a restricted event.
- Meta sends an email about 30 days beforehand, but only to Business Manager admins, so the person running the campaigns often never sees it.
Who gets hit most often
- Health, clinics and dental
- Supplements and wellness
- Pharma and CBD
- Financial services, lending and crypto
- Gambling
- Alcohol, tobacco and vaping
- Adult content and sexual wellness
- Weapons
- Faith and spirituality
In August 2026 Metamorph checked 36,717 health and wellness sites running a Meta pixel across 33 countries. Of those, 15,144 were restricted, which is 41.2%. In the UK it was 1,593 out of 3,870 (41.2%), in the US 2,269 out of 4,922 (46.1%).
Why the Conversions API alone won't fix it
The restriction belongs to the domain. The Conversions API sends the event from your server, but the event still names the same domain, so it gets dropped just the same. CAPI is still worth having. It doesn't solve this problem on its own.
How you get your conversions back
- 01Run the free check, or go straight to the 7-day free trial. No card is charged during the trial.
- 02Within 24 hours on business days, Metamorph's team gets in touch, connects your Meta pixel and puts the fix in place on your site. You don't install anything.
- 03Within days, your conversions show up in Events Manager again, on the same pixel and ad account. Meta optimises on real data again.
What you get
- You keep your existing pixel and ad account.
- Standard and custom events both arrive again.
- Event match quality can end up better than with the pixel alone.
- Metamorph's team does the set-up at no extra cost.
- Every relayed event is counted on Metamorph's dashboard, so you can check the work yourself.
- Agencies get a free partner account and manage their clients' pixels in one place.
Common questions
What is a Meta data sharing restriction?
Meta puts your website's domain, not your ad account, into a sensitive category. The pixel keeps firing, but Meta drops some or all of the events, while your campaigns keep spending.
Do I need to sign up for the check?
No. You enter your first name, your email address and your website, and after about a minute you see the result. If your site isn't restricted, Metamorph stores nothing.
Does the Conversions API fix it?
Not on its own. CAPI sends the event from your server, but the event still names the same domain, and the restriction belongs to the domain.
Can I ask Meta for a review?
Yes, in Events Manager. It's only worth it if the category really is wrong. A real health site stays restricted, and that's exactly where Metamorph comes in.
Do I keep my pixel and ad account?
Yes. Your conversions come back on the same pixel and ad account.
Who sets Metamorph up?
Metamorph's team. They get in touch within 24 hours on business days, and you don't install anything.
